I am a professor at the CUNY Graduate Center in the Ph.D. Program in Economics and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. I have a passion for wine in general, and red wine from Germany in particular.
My academic homepage is here.
I hold the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and am currently studying for the WSET Diploma in Wines. It’s a dream of mine to become a Master of Wine.

Alison I. Beach is professor of medieval history at The Ohio State University. Truth be told, her first love in wine is Mosel Riesling. But she’s a good sport and will be posting here on occasion as well. She’s “volunteered” to help with blind tastings.
Her academic homepage is here.

If you make/sell German red wine, we are of course interested in tasting your wine and telling the world about it (and you)! We have addresses both in Germany and the U.S. Please contact us for further information.
